In 1992, the firm started practising under the name of Brendan P. Ryan and Associates. One Associate, Michael Bosscher, soon became a partner. In 1995 the firm became Ryan & Bosscher Lawyers. In 1996, Andrew Moloney became a partner and the firm expanded to the Gold Coast. In 1999, Mitchell Cavanagh opened the Maroochydore office. The opening of the Ipswich office soon followed. In 2003 the firm expanded to Toowoomba and Sydney. 

It has been a big year for Ryan & Bosscher Lawyers in 2005 marking the 10th anniversary of the founding of the firm and merging with Russo Lawyers.  Peter Russo became of partner of Ryan & Bosscher Lawyers, while senior associate with the firm, Penny White, is running the legal aid practice, which is now based at Russo Lawyers' former premises situated at 231 North Quay, Brisbane. In July 2005 Nici Schmitt opened our newest office in Rockhampton. These eight offices provide the infrastructure to enable our Solicitors to represent clients Australia wide.
